This loco was built in 1978 by Fred Matthews to Martin Evans' design for 'Rob Roy' (but in 5 inch gauge). It was used on the SMEE track at Alexander Palace and Olympia and is still in regular use. As illness prevented Fred from attending IMLEC, the loco was driven by Matthew Byatt.
