Class 24

Started in 1968 as a petrol-electric Class 24 locomotive, it is now battery powered — but is still not quite finished! It is all ‘home built’ including the bodywork.
Powered by four axle-hung nose-suspended 12V motors driven from two 12V batteries, it can haul up to five BSMEE ‘coaches’.
