BSMEE members, Colyer & Caseley created this cutter grinder to enable model engineers to sharpen cutters for milling machines and lathes in their own workshops. Not as sophisticated as other grinders, it is relatively simple to construct and will sharpen the ends, although not the flutes of milling cutters and deal with most forms of lathe tooling. The drawings are available to members of the Society and the example shown in the photographs was created for less than £40, using a motor bought at the club "bring and buy". This model also gained the BSMEE 2007 Award for Tools.
